Topic Description:
Standards address the following: informing families at time of registration of requirement that parents provide notification of any communicable illnesses or problem which may affect child's behavior and give families list of conditions which require exclusion/dismissal. Written policy recommended for illnesses reportable to Health Department. Procedure to follow in case of unexpected death of child in facility outlined.
